Joseph has spent twenty years as a professional photographer, specialising in documentary, nature and fashion photography.

His work appears within and on the cover of publications such as Conde Naste Travel, The New York Times, The Tatler, Marie Claire, and the Telegraph Magazine. He has also produced photographs for advertising and marketing campaigns that include British Airways, Monsoon, and Vidal Sassoon..
Joseph Hunwick was born in 1959 in London, England. His father was a university lecturer, teaching African Studies, and Joseph spent his early years in a variety of African countries.
In the nineteen eighties Joseph moved to Barcelona in Spain to pursue his career in photography .
He is now based between London and Somerset .

In addition to his mother tongue of English, Joseph speaks Spanish and Arabic. As well as continuing his photographic arts, Joseph devotes his time to the production and development of the Sapphire Beauty range.

Joseph works with both traditional film formats ( 35mm - 6X7cm - 4X5 Inch ) and high end digital ( Canon 1ds MkII ).
He is at home in the studio or on location.
